With the vigorous development of the new energy vehicle industry, more and more car companies plan to build their own battery factories. Although GAC Aion still mainly uses purchased batteries in their cars, as early as 2022, GAC Aion started planning its own battery pilot production line, hoping to meet the needs of self-production and self-use as soon as possible. Kinte is the one which provided whole post-processing system solution for Aion: from formation, aging racks, capacity grading, OCV, DCIR, sorting to automatic logistics. Now this pilot production line has been put into use in Aion’s new factory in Panyu District of Guangzhou, mainly producting LFP and NMC blade cells.
