On December 5th, the 7th Lithium Battery Transportation Safety and Global Market Access Seminar, organized by CVC of China Electric Institute, was successfully held in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. The event attracted participation from government agencies, industry experts, and representatives from over 300 companies. The seminar focused on key topics such as lithium battery transportation safety and market access, providing interpretations of the latest regulations and standards. It also featured the release of the Battery Transportation Packaging Requirements Quick Reference Manual (4th Edition, 2025), compiled by CVC, along with the sharing of industry practices and technological innovation achievements.
As the CCC certification body designated by the Certification and Accreditation Administration(CNCA) for lithium-ion batteries and chargers for electric bicycles, CVC held a CCC certification awarding ceremony during the seminar and also provided an in-depth explanation of the CCC certification rules for lithium-ion batteries and chargers used in electric bicycles. In addition, Egypt's COI certificates for power batteries and CVC certificates for energy storage batteries were also awarded during the event.
Regarding global market access, the China representative of Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) introduced the requirements for exporting battery products to the Korean market. Experts from CVC also shared insights on the development trends of safety warning technologies for energy storage batteries, providing more technical support for Chinese products entering overseas markets.
As the event organizer, CVC stated that it will continue to develop comprehensive service capabilities, create industry communication platforms, and drive technological innovation and sustainable development within the lithium battery industry.
